Gday,

I've started a blog, which will hopefully track the 'progress' blues make with the new board in place.

It's pretty basic and hasn't got a vast amount on it yet, but i'd be grateful if y'all would drop by occasionaly.

Surely with Ferguson suspended it's time to give Fahey his head against Liverpool?(no Scoobs I said his head not some head) I thought that Fahey looked impressive in his brief spell against Man C with one very fine cushioned pass leading to a dangerous attack down the right as I recall. His weakness of course is obvious: for such a technically adept player he spend long spells on the edges of the action where he should be more dominant.

The question is can McLeish motivate the guy to turn in a performance against a team who squeeze the game as well as Liverpool do? He must given Ferguson's role in central midfield and told to impose himself. For me he is a better passer than Ferguson but if he's going to disappear up his own backside then he won't be much use. Technically Fahey has more than most at Blues but he seems to lack something- a competitive edge, possibly? I'm crossing my fingers that he will deliver next Monday. Here's hoping- good luck KF.

> The Match: Liverpool v Blues

It's a rare Monday night match for Blues at Anfield, with an 8pm kick off, thanks to ESPN.

I wonder just how many viewers they get for these matches - is it really worth it for them?

Alex McLeish will have some selection decisions to make, instead of having to try to scrape together enough bodies to fill the shirts. Will Bloopy get his way and see Maik Taylor retained in goal following his clean sheet against Man City?

Is it right that now is a good time to face Liverpool, or will they be stung into action by all the recent criticism of both manager and team?

I can see Blues battling for all they're worth again, but I think the Liver Birds will just edge it by 1-0.
